My Journey
Managing anxiety has been part of my story for over twenty years now. Thankfully, over the years, I've found several healthy coping strategies that have been helpful. Therapeutic cleaning has been a go to favorite for me. Did you know that regular cleaning, decluttering, and organizing reduces cortisol levels? Cortisol is the stress hormone, so that's good news for those of us who need a little less stress in our lives! But it gets even better. Not only does the act of cleaning reduce cortisol levels, but the result of living in a cleaner, calmer space promotes better focus, which helps in so many other areas of life. This journey has been so beneficial for me in so many ways and I'm so excited to share it with you here on this blog, as well as on my YouTube channel Cleaning Therapy!
About Me
I live in Louisiana with my husband Tony and my three kids Noelle, Nathan, and Alex. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel when I can, shop for home decor, play cards, or relax and read a good book (usually Amish fiction). I'm also known to hop in the bed with a cup of coffee and catch up on YouTube videos or true crime shows. I'm an extrovert with social anxiety, so wrap your head around that one!
